What is Radon?
What is a home inspection?
Radon is a naturally occurring, colorless, odorless and tasteless gas that is present around all of us. Radon enters homes through foundations, slab/ wall cracks as well as utility and water entrances. Radon gases cannot be detected by human senses.
The Environmental Protection Agency recommends that each home bought or sold should be tested for radon. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, second only to smoking, in the United States.
